    Agnes holds a BA in History and Religious Studies from Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest) and an MA in Nationalism Studies with a specialization in Jewish Studies from the Central European University (Budapest). She has also graduated in the One Year Academic Program in Jewish Studies at "Paideia - The European Institute for Jewish Studies" (Stockholm).
    Currently she is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative History at the Central European University and her dissertation will investigate Hungarian Jewish student migration in Europe in the interwar period, provoked by academic antisemitism in Hungary, particularly by the discriminatory "numerus clausus" law.

    Born on 28th of December 1983 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2009 graduated in history and philosophy (University of Ljubljana). Continued studies at Central European University (Budapest) earning the degree Master of Arts in Comparative History of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe in 2010. Currently enrolled at theCentral European University as a PhD student in History. My research interests include (but are not limited to) late 19th, early 20th century political and intellectual history of Central Europe, especially in regard to the organized liberalism.

    Nikola was awarded his BA at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, where he studied Arabic Language and Literature. He participated in a 1-year MA program at the Department of History, CEU, where he obtained the Religious Studies Specialization certificate. Presently he follows the PhD program in Comparative History, Specialization Religious Studies, at CEU. His doctoral thesis bears the title 'Networks of the Holy: The Levantine Sufis and Religious Practices in the Ottoman Eighteenth Century.'

    My research focuses on 19th century aristocratic culture. Having a BA degree in history and art history I am interested in 19th century architectural history and urban history, and its relation to social and cultural developments. I have a special interest in the history of monument protection and in teaching and learning strategies.
